Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Soga covering your access to and use of soga.gg, Soga accounts, interactive stories, creation tools, generated media, and related services.

Effective and last updated August 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using Soga, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Soga for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. You may not use Soga if applicable law bars you from receiving the service. Soga is not directed to children.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You may sign in with Google or a one-time email link. Provide accurate information, keep access to your email and device secure, and do not share sign-in links. You are responsible for activity under your account unless you promptly tell us it was compromised.

We may reclaim or reject usernames that impersonate another person, infringe rights, mislead users, contain abusive language, or are needed to operate the service. Contact info@soga.gg if you believe your account has been used without permission.

4. What Soga provides

Soga provides interactive entertainment, including authored stories, AI-assisted continuations, custom choices, character tools, generated images, local creator drafts, and experimental sharing or profile features. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the product develops.

Soga does not promise that a story, draft, generated image, username, or feature will always remain available. Keep your own copy of anything you need to preserve. Any paid feature introduced later will include its price and additional purchase terms before you are charged.

5. Your content and permissions to operate the service

“User Content” includes the prompts, premises, titles, names, character descriptions, choices, photos, reference images, feedback, and other material you submit. You keep whatever rights you already have in User Content.

You grant Soga a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, transmit, modify, and display User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Soga; follow your visibility choices; enforce these Terms; and comply with law. This license lets us use service providers to perform those functions. It does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Soga.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for your User Content and Soga’s processing of it. If a photo depicts another adult, you must have that person’s informed permission. Do not submit an image of a minor, a non-consensual intimate image, confidential material you are not authorized to disclose, or another person’s sensitive information.

6. Drafts, public, unlisted, and private content

Creator draft contents currently save privately in the browser on the device where you create them. When you are signed in, Soga synchronizes limited creation metadata—title, style, visibility, character count, and timestamps—to your account for catalog and administrative management; premises, cast names and descriptions, draft images, and draft text remain browser-only. Choosing a visibility setting does not by itself publish a playable draft today. If publishing becomes available, “public” means content can appear on Soga profiles, discovery pages, search engines, and other public surfaces; “unlisted” means it is intended for people with the link; and “private” means it is intended only for your account or device.

Public content can be copied, reshared, or indexed by others. An unlisted link can be forwarded, and no online privacy setting guarantees absolute secrecy. If you later remove public or unlisted content, copies already made by others or held temporarily in caches may remain.

7. AI-generated content

Soga uses automated systems and third-party generation providers to create or adapt text and images. Generated material may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, offensive, or similar to material generated for someone else. It is entertainment, not professional, medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.

Review generated material before relying on, publishing, or sharing it. You are responsible for how you use and share outputs and for confirming that your use is lawful. To the extent permitted by law, Soga does not claim ownership of output generated specifically for you, but Soga retains all rights in its software, branding, authored catalog, characters, templates, interfaces, and other pre-existing material. The law may not recognize exclusive rights in AI-generated material, and Soga does not promise that an output is unique or protectable.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Soga to break the law; violate another person’s intellectual-property, publicity, privacy, or other rights; impersonate or deceive; harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or promote hatred against protected groups; or expose personal or confidential information without authorization.

Soga permits consensual sexual content involving clearly fictional adults. You may not create, request, or share sexual content involving or appearing to involve minors; exploitative or non-consensual sexual content; non-consensual intimate imagery; sexual depictions of a real person without that adult’s informed consent; bestiality; other illegal sexual content; instructions that facilitate violent wrongdoing, self-harm, fraud, or other serious harm; or deceptive media presented as an authentic depiction of a real person or event.

You may not upload malware; probe or bypass security; evade rate limits or access controls; interfere with the service; scrape or harvest accounts or content at scale; use unauthorized bots or automation; reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it; or use Soga to develop a competing model or service through bulk extraction of content or outputs.

9. Moderation and enforcement

We may review content or activity when needed to operate the service, investigate abuse, respond to reports, or comply with law. We may refuse a generation, remove or limit content, restrict visibility, suspend an account, preserve relevant records, or report conduct to authorities when we reasonably believe it is necessary. We are not obligated to monitor every interaction.

We will consider context and severity when enforcing these Terms. To appeal an enforcement decision or report unsafe or unlawful content, email info@soga.gg with the relevant account, URL, and explanation.

10. Soga intellectual property and feedback

Soga and its licensors own the service, including its code, design, branding, logos, authored stories, catalog characters, artwork, and compilation of content. Subject to these Terms, Soga gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose.

If you provide ideas or feedback, you grant Soga a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not give us ownership of your separate stories, images, or other User Content.

11. Copyright and rights complaints

If you believe content on Soga infringes your copyright or other rights, email info@soga.gg with your contact information, a description of the protected work or right, the exact location of the challenged content, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and a statement that your report is accurate. We may forward a complaint to the affected user where appropriate.

Knowingly sending a false or abusive complaint may create legal liability. Soga may remove challenged material and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

12. Third-party services

Soga relies on third parties for hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and AI generation. Their systems may be unavailable or may return content we do not control. Your use of Google sign-in and other third-party features may also be governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Soga is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.

13. Ending your use

You may stop using Soga at any time. You can sign out and clear local browser data, and you may request account or hosted-data deletion by emailing info@soga.gg. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, a security or legal risk, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation of the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, licenses needed for retained public copies or legal compliance, disclaimers, limits of liability, and dispute terms—will survive. The Privacy Policy explains data retention and deletion.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soga is provided “as is” and “as available.” Soga disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent storage, specific story results, or the accuracy, safety, legality, uniqueness, or quality of generated content.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soga and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from the service, even if advised that such damage was possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soga’s total liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Soga in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that law does not allow us to limit, including certain liability for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or non-waivable consumer rights.

16. Your responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses and third-party claims caused by your unlawful User Content, your intentional misuse of Soga, or your material violation of these Terms. This does not require a consumer to indemnify Soga for Soga’s own negligence, misconduct, or violation of law.

17. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections where you live. Before filing a formal claim, please email info@soga.gg and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. If it cannot be resolved, either party may bring the claim in a court that has jurisdiction. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive any right to participate in a class action.

18. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Soga, law, or risk. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date; if a change materially reduces your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible. Continuing to use Soga after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.

If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Soga may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the service, subject to applicable law. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about your use of Soga unless additional terms are presented for a specific feature.
